Sorry this took so long…between Holidays, shopping, and a bad memory time just slipped away…please confirm receipt of the e-mail…also the only photos of the yard were during construction of our house…thought you could decide if these would be any help with before and after pics…

We are very new to the area…when we decided to have a vinyl privacy fence installed we had to rely on the internet and phone book to obtain sources and quotes…after contacting about 10 contractors we ended up with 6 quotes…Low to high was a difference of about $1200…So from here we needed to check on any negative/positive reviews, Better Business Bureau, material specs, installation contract, and guarantee.

We could tell you why we did not go with some of the fencing contractors, but better to tell you all the reasons for choosing Diversified Fence Builders..

The personnel from the sales, owner, and installers were all very helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. The material specs were higher or equal to all other quotes. There were no negative reviews/comments on the BBB site and their pricing was mid range of all quotes. But what sealed the decision was that their posts were 5” x 5” all vinyl on 6’ centers (all the other quotes were 4”x4” posts on 8’ centers). To give you a better idea what this adds up to… installing a 120’ long fence means 6’ centers would have 20 posts and the 8’ centers would be only 15 posts…Much sturdy fence with Diversified…

To Everyone Who Wants a Beautiful Yard:

I am writing this recommendation for Diversified Fence Builders and Jon Folsom because of the outstanding work done in my back yard.

My yard is not large but there was a great deal of work to be done. There was brush to clear for the fence line and a wood picket fence with custom spacing and gates to install. The old natural area had to be cleared, reshaped, covered with weed preventative cloth and new mulch applied. The patio area was redefined and separated from the yard with RR ties, providing a low retaining wall and a wonderful planting area.

All work was completed in a timely way, cleanup was done immediately, and the crew was helpful and friendly. Most important was the way Jon worked with me and quickly made adjustments when I wanted to change the original plans or asked for some material that was difficult to find. Jon is quite knowledgeable and offered great suggestions and ideas but always did the job the way I wanted it done.

I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful vinyl privacy fence that your men installed yesterday. It exceeded my expectations in so many ways.

Within an hour of arriving, they had the old fence taken down and had the new one up in just over 4 hours. The other bids I received said it would take at least two days to replace the fence around my very small yard. Additionally, the new fence was installed such that my dogs are not able to see and dig under the fence and the gate was moved to a different location, which will minimize the distractions that encourage barking. I was so happy with my fence that I went out and bought flowers to give the yard a finished look. I will definitely be giving referrals to any friends who are looking to install or replace a fence.
